Festival activities:

This years event is holding in Mumbai, from 11th September to 22nd September. Mumbai is one of the best places to celebrate any event. An incalculable number of devotees are taking India flights to visit the temple to join in prayers and pay their respects to the God during this fair. The event commences with installation of huge elaborately crafted statutes of Ganesha in homes and podiums as around 10, 000 statues of Lord Ganesh are displayed at various locations in the city. Especially constructed and beautifully decorated statues are paraded through the streets, accompanied by much singing and dancing, and then immersed in the ocean or other bodies of water. Prayers are offered during all the days by devotees.
